Driving past the foothills of the Pyrenees, we stop in Figueres to visit the Dali Theatre and Museum where we will Dive Into Culture and gain insights into the fascinating world of Salvador Dali. See his work in this impressive building, before arriving in Barcelona this afternoon for an included sightseeing tour. With a local specialist, we’ll see the Columbus Monument as well as Antoni Gaudi’s unfinished La Sagrada Familia.
We’ll end at a local food court to shop like the locals, and maybe try traditional tapas. Today, we’ll be exploring Montorgueil with our knowledgeable guide. We’ll sample some of the city’s finest bread, charcuterie, cheese and pastries; meeting local vendors and artisans along the way. Spain is the best choice for beach vacations. The tour is fast paced with several one night stays as it’s a lot to cover in a short period of time. Although the hotel was not within walking distance of anything, the other hotels were excellent.
